 |

~100 kilometers in 15 hours of sunlight on the longest day of the year.
Sunrise 5:37, Sunset 8:37 (total time 15:00)
Susquehanna Park, Maryland to Long Level, near Wrightsville, Pa
Start at sunrise (05:37) finish by sunset (20:37), total time: 15:00
Start - Rock Run Mill
Finish - Shanks Mare Store
Aid - self supported, possibly two to three general common drop/ aid points, tbd.
Trail Markings - Mason Dixon Blue Blazes and good sense of direction. Interested runners should
purchase a set of the maps published by the Mason-Dixon Trail Association. This run's challenge includes, by following the course blazes, remaining on the Mason Dixon Trail.
Other - this is a free individual effort—the small entry fee can be returned at the race start—and not to be considered an organized, sponsored or affiliated endeavor;
no applications, releases, etc; don't expect much more from it other than self-fulfillment.
Realistic run estimates - for even a seasoned fast trail runner, completion in daylight may be beyond
normal capabilities (doable perhaps only by speedy mountain goats brandishing a machete);

nautical twilight option: (4:23 to 21:52 - total time: 17:29)

To quote Nate Regouski:
For what it's worth, this race was the most inspiring I have ever run - I would even dare say spiritual (and I am not a relgious person). The route is along the most beautiful part of the Susquahana, and the wide variety of terrain and landscapes is unbelievable. The challenging trail, footing, and hills, all make it spectacular.
